Biosphere Principals Sustainable City
MISSION STATEMENT
•
To establish a mission oriented, integrated, science-based research program
•
To implement socially and environmentally beneficial programs on the journey to
our long term objectives
•
To develop Disaster Resilient Survival Systems, protecting Life Support Systems,
providing all of Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs and Total Sustainability
•
To do so by applying Space Seed and Biosphere Technology on Earth
•
To collaborate with expertise in Technology, Economy and Environment
•
To develop Sustainable Environments, Cities, Transport and Industries
•
To implement Technology Transfer Systems and Spin-off Enterprises and facilitate
organisations to achieve a balanced ‘triple-bottom-line’
APPROACH: EnGen Institute prefers the ‘Man-Machine System’ approach (as used to design
submarines and space stations having people at the centre of design) to developing Life
Support Systems with people and communities in control of technology that facilitates the
expression and development of human capacity and creativity. Our approach is to solve
problems on a small local scale first developing modular integrated solutions then deploy
proven solutions on a larger scale.
ENGAGEMENT: EnGen Institute has been established for public not private benefit and so
seeks to be a source of information & education in order to facilitate change and to
provide solutions to the environmental & industrial challenges of the current era.
